Anglers Of Honor

Screen shot 2014-06-10 at 10.18.16 AMThe first time I attended an Anglers Of Honor Event I was amazed how the participants transformed throughout the day. What started as a low spirited event ended with smiles, laughter and joy as Veterans caught numerous fish on South Boulder Creek.  It was great to see these soldiers reconnect with the outdoors and enjoy fishing as well as other outdoor activities available at Lincoln Hills. This year the Anglers of Honor program is in full swing aiding in the recovery process of brave servicemen and women. The program is committed to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of our heroic veterans through the outdoors. They have found that fishing and other outdoor activities can provide much needed respite for these individuals, and the folks at Lincoln Hills Cares are proud to offer their grounds, amenities and staff for this great cause. This year the Lincoln Hills Cares Anglers of Honor program has a goal to donate a rod and reel combination setup to each veteran participant. This will be made possible by fellow anglers, like you, who would be willing to purchase a rod reel combo and donate it back to the Anglers Of Honor Program.
