I recently stubbled upon this blog post about my friend and Steelhead Guide Jeff Brazda. It is fun to see familiar names pop up on fly fishing blogs so I thought I would share it. I have known Jeff for quite some time and have fished with him in Washington, Alaska, Montana, Florida and Mexico in search of all types species. Although we have fished many places together it is the coast of the Olympic Peninsula where I have spent the most time with Jeff. The Steelhead that call these rivers home relocate Jeff from his house in Ellensburg each winter so he can continue to pursue them day in day out from January until April. Jeff takes a short Steelhead break during the summer while he guides the Yakima River for trout. But once the Salmon and Summer Run Steelhead start making their way up the Columbia River Jeff is guiding on Rivers like the Methow and Klickitat searching again for Steelhead/Salmon. Take a peak at the interview that The Venturing Angler put together about the most passionate Steelhead Guide in the Lower 48.
